SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

 

Reporting to the Venue Development Director for Client Events Support and the Library & Information Systems Manager for Staff support, this role will provide technical support to RDS Clients and Staff ensuring all ICT systems and services perform to their optimum.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  1. ICT support for Client Events-
  • Providing pre event and event support for all small meetings requiring ICT services on-site (eg Wi-Fi, AV);
  • Being the super-user for all key systems and applications such as Ucopia, Xirrus;
  • Liaising with ICT partners for services and management of maintenance schedules.
  1. ICT Support for Staff-
  • Responding and resolving all system issues for staff and liaising with ICT partners;
  • Implementing security measures to safeguard information;
  • Responsible for hardware and office software upgrades.

 

The successful candidate will be a motivated, team player who works well with others.  He/she will be a conscientious, discreet, solutions driven individual with the proven ability to work under pressure within pre-set timescales.    

 

A strong working knowledge of IT at a similar role level supported by a relevant third level qualification.  Excellent trouble shooting and time management skills.

FINANCE MANAGER

 

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive Finance, the responsibilities of this role include:

 

  • Production of monthly finance report for the Board of Management meetings;
  • Management of the finance function on a day to day basis;
  • Analysis of monthly management accounts;
  • Budgetary control;
  • Statutory returns;
  • Ad hoc reports and reconciliations;
  • Managing a team of three;
  • Monitoring various licencing agreements.

 

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, conscientious, discreet individual with excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills.  He/she will have excellent interpersonal and people management skills.  

 

A strong working knowledge of the finance function at a similar role level supported by a professional accountancy qualification.  Excellent computer skills and systems orientated.
