Dublin Horse Show
The Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup at the Stena Line Dublin Horse Show is the one of highlights of the Irish summer and runs annually for five days each August - this year it takes place from Wednesday 8 to Sunday 12 August. The Show is an important component of the RDS work programme and is run on a not-for-profit basis, acting as an international showcase for the best sport horses in Ireland.
Considered one of the top equestrian events in the world, the Show is the pinnacle event for the €700 million indigenous Irish sport horse industry and a major draw for international equestrian competitiors. The Show boasts one of the largest prize funds of any international equestrian event of almost €1 million. Every year as part of the FEI Nations CupTM, the Dublin Horse Show awards the fabled Aga Khan Trophy, which was first presented in 1926.
For generations the Dublin Horse Show has been synonymous with the height of summer; people come for the equestrian competition, to socialise, to shop, to eat, to see and be seen; to have a truly unique experience that only the Horse Show can provide.
