RDS Gold Medal for Enterprise
The RDS Gold Medal Award for Enterprise is one of the Society's flagship awards, presented annually to an individual who has made an exceptional impact on Irish industry and commerce.
To have been nominated for the RDS Gold Medal for Enterprise the individual must have shown considerable professional and leadership skills and have an outstanding track record in business achievement which has contributed to employment and economic development in Ireland.

Moya Doherty is an extraordinary business woman whose influence and impact has transformed the creative economy in Ireland. She has shown over her remarkable career talent, vision and confidence which has inspired a younger generation of business people to follow in her trailblazing footsteps. As co-creator of Riverdance Moya Doherty has been a catalyst in transforming the image of Ireland around the world.
Moya Doherty has received numerous awards and honours including: Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and honorary doctorates from the University of Ulster and the National University of Ireland in recognition of her success and her ongoing commitment to the arts in Ireland.
